We are a group of people who live in West Cumbria who wanted to tackle homelessness and poverty in the area where we live.
Led by Rachel Holliday Founder / CEO who had first hand experience of Homelessness, addiction and mental illness, Rachel wanted to provide a service where people who find themselves in need can be given what they need to be able to move on to a brighter future.
Established in June 2013, TTC is operated by a Board of Directors who all volunteer to ensure the successful running of the project. We have 12 permanent staff members which fluctuates as we work on new ideas and projects.
We pride ourselves on working in partnership with local authorities, corporate organisations and the charity sector. We believe investment in homelessness works and we see this happening every day. TTC not only changes lives, but we save lives. We believe through warmth and kindness, we can provide help and support to those most in need in our communities and make West Cumbria a better place to be for everyone.
Without the support of those we work with locally we wouldn’t be able to help those most in need in West Cumbria.
Time to Change West Cumbria is a community interest company (CIC) that strives to abolish homelessness in West Cumbria and supports those marginalised in our local communities.
